There are 23 pupils in our class. Our teacher is Mr. Fitzsimons.
Carrots for Rudolph
3rd class were delighted to receive their Carrots for Rudolph from the Guy family before our Christmas holidays.
Science Week
During Science week 3rd class carried out an experiment on the properties of plastic using zip bags, water and pencils. We found out that plastic contains molecules that are flexible and can mold themselves around objects when pierced.
We also created our own lava lamps during the week.
Halloween Art
The class had great fun creating these amazing Haunted House paintings for Halloween. Well done everyone!
Maths Week
Maths week took place from 14-18 October. We completed lots of different tasks in 3rd class such as Maths quiz, 2D/3D Shapes art competition, daily number noggle and guessing number of items in a jar.
PE
Third class recently took part in some PE games organised by 6th class based on the theme of Green Schools.
Cycle Safety
Third class took part in a 7 week cycle safety programme where they learned about rules of the road, road positioning, starting and stopping, shoulder checking and over taking. The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed the training.
