The children in 6th Class received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday 31st January. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were very proud of them.

World War 2 Soldiers
To kick off their studies on The Second World War, 6th Class created these portraits of soldiers using a pencil and print technique.
Glasnevin Cemetery
6th Class visited Glasnevin Cemetery this week to learn about Irish history. They got to see the resting places of many Irish heroes and learned a little about the darker side of Dublin’s history. They would recommend a visit.

Life on a Dairy Farm with Eoin Corrigan
6th Class are learning all about life on a dairy farm by participating in monthly zooms with Eoin Corrigan, a local dairy farmer. As if that wasn’t good enough, Eoin also treats the children to flavoured milk. Not to be left out, Mrs Dobie gets a lovely bottle of fresh milk straight from the source.
